My personal experience at Luella's left me impressed with the quality of the food and the inviting atmosphere. The smoked wings were finger-licking good, the brisket had a nice bark with rich flavor, and the mac 'n cheese was creamy perfection. The hush puppies, fried okra, and sweet potato chips added delightful crunch and variety to the meal.

I came in for lunch today. The food was excellent and I did not have to wait very long before it came out. The sevice was amazing especially Connor who answered all the questions I had.

Luella's is awesome! We live nearby so we eat there pretty often. We ordered smoked turkey, smoked brisket and sweet potato casserole for part of our Thanksgiving dinner. It was ready when we were told it would be and came ready to reheat. I have always hated brisket but this was so delicious that I ate it instead of the turkey. When we eat there, the service is always good. The restaurant is very casual, with plenty of seating. In warm weather, we like to sit on the covered patio.

The best service and friendliest people. Love this location and Glenna, always has a welcoming smile on her face . Definitely makes you feel like you're supposed to be here! Wing platter w/sweet love sauce Thanks Luella's South ! Diana B.

Cashier with the tubular mustache was nice and suggested great food but the vinaigrette was okay but I got the pound of chicken and a side of Mac and Cheese. The outside seating was great the waitress was nice and the restaurant was in a plaza area and was beautiful.

Dang. The staff were hustling. When looking online, my partner and I saw they had a 3.9 which is most likely why. They really put in a ton of effort and so I'm happy to reflect that here. They are really stepping up in terms of service. I have always loved their food though. I've been here twice and both times the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. There's not a lot of pressure because it's counter service but they do bring you your food. And check on you. I would say this place reasonable in terms of prices. Especially for the area. Last time I got a sandwich and this past time we shared a plate. To be honest, I think I would stick with a sandwich because it's nice to have their barbecue on bread. My partner had their wings recently and she appreciated being able to buy them as singles. They were well seasoned and sized. The barbecue is always delicious (pork and chicken) to me and their mac & cheese is lovely. I enjoy the hush puppies as well. I've gotten the salad before and it's awesome. The establishment was also super clean overall. The service is fast and there's a ton of space to spread out. Win win.

I came here for my graduation party lunch and it was amazing!! I worked with Malynn in advance to reserve a table for 15 and set a menu. The food was delicious, the waitstaff were so attentive and kind, and the atmosphere was great! I truly couldn't recommend this place more, whether you want a casual bite to eat or to gather with friends and family after a big event, Luella's is the place to go!

We were staying down the street at the Hilton and our friend told us this place was doing a promotion where they had their 2006 prices or something for a pulled pork or chicken sandwich or plate, and we were sold! Someone in our group said the place was mediocre so expectations weren't super high but actually we thought it was pretty good overall. I had a pulled pork plate with mac and cheese and green beans. It was all very good. I should mention I'm kind of spoiled because hubs smokes meat in our backyard and it comes out AMAZING. The pulled pork wasn't quite as good as his but it was still pretty good, and they gave a very large mound of it. The mac and cheese was delish, definitely not out of a box. It was super cheesy and melty and delicious. I also really liked the green beans. I am a sucker for green beans. For the special, the meal was a steal. It still would have been good at the regular prices. They had a bunch of things on the menu I wasn't familiar with like Brunswick stew. We'd definitely come back and try some other things when we come back to town next year.

Bar-B-Que Heaven! Popped into this restaurant for some good 'ol fashioned southern BBQ and left quite impressed. Everything I had amazing flavor! -The smoked wings were finger licking good... meaty and full of robust flavor -The brisket were a nice cut of meat and fat... nice outside bark, but tad dry. -The mac-n-cheese was creamy and not too cheesy... just the way I like it. -Hush puppies were on point. -Fried okra were flavor bomb. -Sweet potato chips were fresh and crispy. -Coleslaw was vinegar based (not mayo). -Their signature sauces were ADDICTING! I dipped everything in there, even my finger... hey, if you can dip it and put it in your mouth then game on! What makes this spot even more tantalizing is the bar. Draft beers, on tap, bottles, and hard alcohol. BUT, what good is coming to the south without going for the gold... SWEET TEA!!! Allll dayyyy everyyyy dayyyy! Located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. You can not miss this spot. Bring your appetite and DIP!!!!
